Danskin Products Changed This Year - Poor Quality Now

Danskin products have been excellent until now: high quality, long lasting, and beautiful fit. In 2009, the company changed. For about 6 months in early 2010, the company advertised unavailable products, and then emailed they are not available b/c the company was moving. They promised availability in July. So I ordered in July 2010.I ordered 100% cotton leggings (same style number as I have had for years) and received what were supposed to be the same style #. But the leggings were mostly polyester with some cotton. They do not look, fit, or feel the same.Customer service was professional and helpful, and said to return them. They sent a return Fed Ex Ground label. I ordered Supplex Nylon leggings, citing the style number of the nylon leggings I have and like a lot. The representative assured me the new leggings were the same as what I own. After two wearings, the new supplex nylon legging split on the lower left leg seam. I am slim and bought an S instead of XS, so it did not happen because of my size. Also, I have Danskin products that are 15 years old and look almost new. Never has a Danskin product fallen apart before.I am sad to report that unless Danskin does something dramatic, I can no longer buy any of their previously wonderful products.

I LOVE these pants! I am a fitness professional and need my workout clothes to be comfortable, good-looking, sturdy, and functional- these supplex pants are the best!!!

Different fit than old Danskin Supplex pants

I bought a pair of these in blue last year and LOVED them. They fit very tightly, so I was glad that I got a large, even though I'm a size 8. So when I bought these pants in black, I ordered a large again. They were WAY too big. Danskin has definitely changed how they make the Supplex pants. So if you order these, make sure you are careful with the sizing. And they don't seem to feel as tight/fitted as they did before.
